Anand: The Gandhinagar-Mumbai Vande Bharat Express train will soon have another halt at Anand Junction in Gujarat, Lok Sabha MP Mitesh Patel announced today.
Taking to the social media platform Instagram, the Anand MP stated that after an effective presentation to Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, the Railway Ministry informed him telephonically about the approval of the train’s stoppage at Anand Railway Station.
Stating that this long-awaited demand has finally been fulfilled, the parliamentarian thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on behalf of the citizens of Anand and the surrounding areas.
It is noteworthy that, as of now, the Vande Bharat Express, after departing from the state capital Gandhinagar, stops at Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali before reaching Mumbai Central. With four earlier stops in Gujarat, this halt at Anand will be the fifth one, though the official confirmation and timings are yet to be announced by the Railways. DeshGujarat
