Sons of Gujarat Miniter booked by Police for assault

Gandhinagar: Sons of Gujarat’s Minister of State for Food and Civil Supplies, Bhikhusinh Parmar, along with the president of the Aravalli district BJP Youth Wing, have been booked in connection with an assault on a young man. The Modasa Town Police have registered a case against six individuals involved in the incident.

The incident came to light after a video of the assault went viral on social media. The video reportedly shows the minister’s sons, Ranjitsinh and Kiransinh Parmar, along with Aravalli district BJP Youth Wing president, Amish Patel, and others, beating a young man named Jaimin Bharatbhai Trivedi.

According to the complaint by Trivedi, the accused confronted him, questioning him about hiding his friend, Lala Thapa, at his home. They then allegedly proceeded to assault him with kicks, punches, and sticks, and issued death threats.

Following the public outcry and the viral video, the Modasa Town Police registered a case against the minister’s sons, Ranjitsinh and Kiransinh Parmar, Amish Patel, and three others under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including rioting, unlawful assembly, voluntarily causing hurt, and criminal intimidation.
