Western Railway to run Bandra-Bikaner special train

Mumbai – Western Railway (WR) has announced a special train service between Bandra Terminus (BDTS) and Bikaner (BKN) to accommodate the anticipated surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming summer season. The special train, numbered 09035/09036, will operate on special fares, enhancing connectivity between Mumbai and the desert city of Bikaner.

Train 09035 Bandra (T)-Bikaner Special will depart from Bandra Terminus every Wednesday, starting March 5, 2025. Train 09036 Bikaner-Bandra (T) Special will depart from Bikaner every Thursday, starting March 6, 2025.

The train will comprise 12 AC 3-tier coaches, 4 AC Chair Car coaches, and 2 Luggage-cum-Brake Vans, ensuring comfortable travel for passengers.

It will halt at key stations, including Borivali, Palghar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Jodhpur, providing convenient travel options along the route.

A total of 17 trips will be operated in each direction between March and June 2025. Train 09035 will cover the 1,222 km journey in approximately 22 hours and 10 minutes, while train 09036 will take 25 hours and 40 minutes to complete the same distance.
