Another illegal Bangladeshi immigrant held in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of the city police arrested another Bangladeshi national, Jasim Husain, from Pirana on Saturday for illegally residing in the country. Husain, 38, had been living in the Vasantnagar area of Gota and hails from Sujalpur in the Jessore district of Bangladesh’s Khulna division.
A professional driver, Husain was detained and taken to the SOG office for questioning. He lacked valid Indian citizenship documents and admitted to entering the country illegally. Authorities have restricted his movement and are investigating whether he has any criminal links.
