March 02, 2025
Dahod: Dahod police on Saturday recovered a dumper that had been stolen from Mungeli, Chhattisgarh, and also nabbed the accused involved in the crime. What is interesting here is that Dahod police once again demonstrated the use of technological innovation in solving the crime. After an overnight search and the deployment of a drone in the morning, the team successfully captured the vehicle and apprehended the accused.
Commending the use of technology in the operation, Gujarat DGP Vikas Sahay said, “Great work by SP Dahod and the team! A stolen dumper from Mungeli, Chhattisgarh, was recovered after suspects abandoned it and fled. The team searched all night and used a drone in the morning, leading to a successful capture. Technology in action! Gujarat Police in action.”
