₹54 crore Limbayat – Dindoli underbridge opens for public in Surat
March 02, 2025
Surat: Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil today inaugurated a railway underpass built at an estimated cost of ₹53.58 crore near Sai Baba Temple on the Surat-Bhusawal railway line in the Limbayat zone of the city.
The Limbayat-Dindoli railway underpass, connecting Limbayat to the Dindoli area, will benefit a large number of motorists by reducing traffic congestion and saving travel time.
State-of-the-art technology has been used in constructing this underpass, which passes beneath seven railway tracks. Due to the length of the underpass, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has been installed at a cost of ₹1.50 crore to prevent suffocation from vehicular smoke inside. Additionally, two underground tanks have been provided for rainwater disposal. The underpass will significantly benefit residents of Limbayat, Godadara, Udhanayard, Navagam, and Dindoli. DeshGujarat
