Surat: Union Jal Shakti Minister C.R. Patil today inaugurated a railway underpass built at an estimated cost of ₹53.58 crore near Sai Baba Temple on the Surat-Bhusawal railway line in the Limbayat zone of the city.

The Limbayat-Dindoli railway underpass, connecting Limbayat to the Dindoli area, will benefit a large number of motorists by reducing traffic congestion and saving travel time.

State-of-the-art technology has been used in constructing this underpass, which passes beneath seven railway tracks. Due to the length of the underpass, a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system has been installed at a cost of ₹1.50 crore to prevent suffocation from vehicular smoke inside.
