Gandhinagar: The main opposition Congress party today informed that the leader of oppositioni in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi will be on a visit to Gujarat on 7 – 8 March. Rahul Gandhi will participate in Political Affairs committee meeting in Gujarat. He will meet with the President, former Presidents of State party unit and leader of opposition. Rahul will also meet with cell and department office bearers of Gujarat Congress. He will also interact with the MLAs of Congress party in Gujarat and former MLAs. Rahul will hold deliberation on the next regular election of Gujarat Assembly scheduled to take place in December 2027. It’s worth noting that in the month of April this year, All India Congress Committee (AICC)’s national convention is going to be held in Gujarat. Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the State is believed linked to this. Congress party’s national general secretary (organization) KC Venugopal was on visit to Gujarat in connection with this. While the leader of opposition Rahul Gandhi will be on visit to Gujarat on 7  – 8 March, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be in Gujarat on same days. However while Rahul’s visit will be limited to Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister’s functions are scheduled to take place in Surat and South Gujarat. DeshGujarat
