IMD warns of hot and humid conditions in parts of Gujarat on March 9-10

Ahmedabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), in its daily weather forecast, issued a warning about hot and humid conditions likely to prevail in the coastal region of Gujarat on March 9 and 10, 2025.

IMD’s forecast for the next seven days indicates a gradual rise in temperatures.

The forecast states:

~ Gradual rise by 3-5oC in maximum temperatures during next 5 days very likely over the region

~ Gradual rise by 3-5oC in minimum temperatures during next 5 days very likely over the region.

~ Discomfort conditions due to hot & humid air very likely to prevail over the coastal areas of South Gujarat region and Saurashtra-Kutch on 09-03-2025 and 10-03-2025 (day 4 and 5).

As per the synoptic situation, northerly to northeasterly winds are prevailing at lower levels over the region. DeshGujarat
