Vadodara: Dabhoi MLA Shailesh Mehta has sought the implementation of the Disturbed Areas Act in the Bhayli area, which falls under his Assembly constituency. He has written a letter to the Chief Minister regarding this.
In a letter to Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, MLA Shailesh Mehta wrote, “I would like to inform you that the Bhayli area, which falls under the Dabhoi Assembly constituency and has been incorporated into Vadodara city, is witnessing significant development. Several new societies, corporate houses, and commercial complexes are being constructed. Additionally, schemes like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have also been implemented here, benefiting people from all communities.”
“As a result, the population of the minority community in these housing schemes and other areas is increasing, leading to hesitation among people from other communities in relocating to this area. To maintain law and order and prevent property-related disputes, I strongly recommend the implementation of the Disturbed Areas Act across the entire Bhayli region.” he added in the letter.
