Gujarat CM allocates ₹2 crore additional grant to each woman MLA

Gandhinagar: The Gujarat government announced today that Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to allocate an additional grant of ₹2 crore to each woman MLA for the year 2025-26, in addition to the regular grant given to MLAs for public works. A total of 14 women MLAs will receive this additional grant for various road development projects in their constituencies.
The Chief Minister has also urged each woman MLA to utilize ₹50 lakh from this additional grant for the “Catch the Rain” campaign, focusing on rainwater harvesting and irrigation initiatives. DeshGujarat
