ATM Cash Handler Absconding After Embezzling ₹25 Lakh in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Chandkheda police have filed a case against Manoj Bhadoria, an employee of a cash management company, for allegedly misappropriating ₹25 lakh while loading an ATM. The incident occurred on May 11, 2024, at a private bank’s cash recycling machine in Civil Hospital, Asarwa.
According to a complaint by Rajesh Makwana, the company’s route leader, Bhadoria was assigned to deposit ₹32 lakh into the ATM. However, an internal audit later found ₹25 lakh missing. CCTV footage showed Bhadoria entering the office washroom with a carton and leaving with a bag, suspected to contain the cash.
Bhadoria resigned a few days later and has been untraceable since. After conducting an internal probe, the company approached the police, who have now launched a search for him. Authorities are also reviewing his financial records and contacts as part of the investigation. DeshGujarat
