Ahmedabad: The construction of the Bullet Train Project in Ahmedabad, from Sabarmati to Vatva, is progressing with segment installation work set to begin on Cadila Bridge from April 6, prompting traffic diversions in the area.

As per the notification issued by the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic), The construction work for the Bullet Train Project in Ahmedabad, from Sabarmati to Vatva, is being carried out by Dineshchandra R. Agrawal Infracon Pvt. Ltd. As part of this project, segment installation work on pillars above Kadila Bridge will be conducted between April 6, 2025, and May 30, 2025, exclusively during nighttime hours.

During this period, the following traffic diversions will be in place:

Restricted Route:

• The BRTS road in the middle of Kadila Bridge will remain closed for 45 days from both ends.

Alternative Routes:

1. 1. BRTS buses will use the adjacent roads of Kadila Bridge during the day.

2. 2. Other vehicles traveling at night will be allowed to use the opposite side of the bridge, depending on the work in progress.
