Some trains affected due to Bridge Work on Viramgam-Surendranagar Rail Route

Ahmedabad, March 28, 2025: Rail traffic on the Viramgam-Surendranagar section of the Rajkot Division will be affected due to essential engineering work on Bridge No. 24, located between Lilapur Road and Kesariya Road stations. The Railway Engineering Department will be undertaking the replacement of the existing steel girder with a PSC (Pre-stressed Concrete) slab. Consequently, several trains passing through the Rajkot Division will be impacted.

The details of the affected trains are as follows:

Cancelled Trains:
* Train No. 19120 Veraval-Gandhinagar Capital Express, scheduled for March 28, 2025, will remain cancelled.

* Train No. 19119 Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express, scheduled for March 30, 2025, will remain cancelled.

Partially Cancelled Trains:
* Train No. 19120 Veraval-Gandhinagar Capital Express, departing from Veraval on March 29, 2025, will only run up to Surendranagar.

* From Surendranagar, the same rake will operate as Train No. 19119 Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express.

* Therefore, on March 29, 2025, both Train No. 19120 Veraval-Gandhinagar Capital and Train No. 19119 Gandhinagar Capital-Veraval Express will be partially cancelled between Surendranagar and Gandhinagar Capital.

Trains to be Regulated Enroute:
* Train No. 16614 Coimbatore-Rajkot Express, scheduled for March 28, 2025, will be regulated enroute for a duration of one hour.

* Train No. 16337 Okha-Ernakulam Express, scheduled for March 29, 2025, will be regulated enroute for a duration of 40 minutes.
