1,156 km out of 1,386 km of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway complete: Centre in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi: As of February 2025, a total length of 1,156 km out of 1,386 km of the Delhi-Mumbai
Expressway has been completed across States. Out of this, 756 km has been operationalised. Initially,
there were delays in the project due to slow progress by the contractors, force majeure issues, land
acquisition issues. The Government is taking all relevant steps to ensure the timely completion of the
remaining length.
The final cost of the project can only be ascertained post completion of the balance length.
