AMC puts 9 city plots up for auction with ₹920.48 crore base price
April 17, 2025
Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) is set to auction nine land parcels across the city with a total base price of ₹920.48 crore. The properties, which include five residential and four commercial plots, are located in various areas, including Bodakdev, Thaltej, Motera, Chandkheda, Shilaj, Vatva, and Nikol.
In previous auctions, a lack of competition and single bids led to cancellations, but this time, AMC is optimistic about a stronger market response. Developers and companies can register for the auction between April 16 and May 15 on AMC’s official website, with the e-auction scheduled for May 19 and 20. The civic body expects to earn around ₹1,000 crore from the sale.
Among the plots, the most premium one is located behind Mango Hotel near Sindhu Bhavan Road. Two plots in this area are collectively priced at ₹333 crore, with the land rate set at ₹2.52 lakh per square metre — the highest among the commercial offerings.
