Modasa gets Gujarat’s latest Bus Port of GSRTC

Modasa: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel  today inaugurated the latest bus port of Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) at Modasa, the town which is the district headquarters  of Northern Gujarat district Aravalli.

The new facility marks a significant step forward in Aravalli’s development. Equipped with modern amenities such as comfortable seating, a digital information system, clean drinking water, and enhanced security, the bus station will benefit residents of Modasa and surrounding areas. It is also expected to improve connectivity and provide a more convenient and comfortable travel experience.

In addition to the bus station inauguration, the Chief Minister also launched various other development projects in the district including a 125-bed government hospital at Bhiloda.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel clearly stated that the government has adopted the approach of building sub-district hospitals to provide health care facilities to the people of the remote and remote villages of the state at the nearest place at the time of need.

Bhiloda Community Health Center in Aravalli district has been upgraded to a 125-bed sub-district hospital with modern facilities at a cost of Rs 43 crore.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel was addressing the Aravalli district, including this hospital, while gifting various development works worth Rs 282 crore in a single day.

He inaugurated the newly built iconic bus port in Modasa at a cost of Rs 15 crore, roads to be constructed at a cost of Rs 140 crore, Samaras Kanya and Kumar Hostel, Primary Health Center, development works of the Municipality, smart classes in schools, etc. at a program held in Modasa.

The Chief Minister said that under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the journey of all-round development has extended to the remotest villages.

Now 24 X 7 electricity, good road connectivity and health services have reached the villages as well.

In this context, he said that the government has taken up the plan to set up sub-district hospitals so that civil hospitals like district headquarters can be built in talukas as per the need.

Such sub-district hospitals are functioning in 16 talukas with 100-100 bed facilities and services of various disease specialists. This year, such hospitals will be set up in the tribal areas of Nizar and Kalyanpur in Dwarka district.

The Chief Minister added that the Prime Minister has adopted the approach of easily providing the best facilities in basic sectors like education, health, housing, connectivity, water supply to the smallest of people.

Stating that the iconic bus port with airport-like facilities and modern Samaras hostels are examples of this, the Chief Minister gave a detailed role of the Namolaxmi and Namo Saraswati schemes launched by the state government to promote and support the studies of sons and daughters.

He also indicated that he would consider the demand made by the Minister of State, Shri Bhikhu Singhji, for the people of Aravalli district to get a university.

The Chief Minister reiterated the nine resolutions given by Prime Minister Shri Narendrabhai Modi for the construction of a developed India@2047 and called upon all citizens to cooperate in fulfilling these resolutions.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also symbolically distributed aid and equipment to the beneficiaries in this program.

On this occasion, Education Minister Shri Kuberbhai Dindor said that today’s program is historic. Today, a new chapter of development is beginning. Our Gujarat government has achieved success in education, health and economic development. The Gujarat government has taken decisions for the well-being of citizens in all sectors. In Aravalli district, a combination of theocracy, democracy and monarchy is seen. We are constantly striving to make all the schools in the state smart. We are connecting all the schools with technology so that our school children do not remain deprived of technology.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shri Bhikhusinhji Parmar said that the Gujarat model has become famous across the country. Today, together we are going to be a part of the development ladder of Rs. 282.78 crore. All these development works will give a new direction to the development of the district. The Minister demanded the construction of a paved road on the Meshwo Dam and the construction of a university in the district.

In this Lokapran and Khatmuhurat program, Aravalli District Panchayat President Shri Priyankaben Damor, MP Shri Shobhanaben Baraiya, Bhiloda MLA Shri P. C. Baranda, Bayad MLA Shri Dhavalsinh Jhala, Modasa Taluka Panchayat President Shri Snehalben Patel, Modasa Municipality President Shri Neeraj Seth, Aravalli District In-charge Secretary Shri Roopwant Singh, Vice Chairman and Managing Director M. Nagarajan, District Collector Shri Prashasti Pareek, District Development Officer Shri Dipesh Kedia along with office bearers, officers, employees and a large number of citizens were present.

During his visit to Aravalli district, Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel visited the newly constructed Vande Mataram Bus Port equipped with state-of-the-art facilities at Modasa.
In addition, he also inaugurated the Public Relations Center of Lok Sabha MP Smt. Shobhanaben Baraiya.

The Chief Minister was also present at the group wedding of the differently-abled organized at Shri Modasa and blessed the newlyweds.
