Gujarat High Court to get new judge as SC Collegium transfers 7 judges

Ahmedabad: Gujarat High Court will get a new judge as the Supreme Court Collegium has proposed the transfer of seven high court judges. Justice Neranahalli Srinivasan Sanjay Gowda has been recommended to be transferred to the Gujarat High Court.
In a statement led by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, the Collegium said, “With a view to infuse inclusivity and diversity at the level of High Courts and to strengthen the quality of administration of justice, the Supreme Court Collegium in its meetings held on 15th April, 2025 and 19th April, 2025 has recommended transfer of the following Judges of High Courts.”
