Vadodara Traffic Police crushes 108 modified Bullet silencers

Vadodara: In a crackdown on noise pollution, the city traffic police seized several Bullet motorcycles with modified silencers from various parts of the city. Acting under the Motor Vehicles Act, authorities removed the modified silencers from the detained bikes. With court approval, a total of 108 such silencers were crushed on Monday using a JCB machine.
In a separate traffic drive, six more vehicles were detained for MV Act violations. Police also recorded 65 helmet-related offenses, issuing fines totaling ₹98,800 to violators. Additionally, 48 two-wheelers and four-wheelers parked illegally in no-parking zones were either towed using cranes or immobilized using car locks.
