Mann Fave Tya Faro: 2,580 passes issued in 5 years, ₹21 lakh revenue for GSRTC

Gandhinagar: To promote travel across Gujarat during the summer holidays and support citizens involved in business activities across districts, the Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has introduced the ‘Mann Fave Tya Faro’ (Travel Anywhere You Wish) scheme. The initiative allows citizens to explore the state’s rich art, culture, and tourist destinations conveniently using GSRTC buses.
According to GSRTC, passengers from Ahmedabad, Surat, Mehsana, and Rajkot have benefited the most from the scheme in the past year. In the last five years, the corporation has issued 2,580 passes under this scheme, earning over ₹21 lakh in revenue.
The scheme offers flexible travel options:
– For local, express, and Gurjarnagari buses, adults can travel for 7 days at ₹1,595 or for 4 days at ₹935. Children can travel for 7 days at ₹800 or 4 days at ₹470.
– For luxury non-AC sleeper coaches, adults can pay ₹1,870 for 7 days or ₹1,045 for 4 days, while children are charged ₹935 and ₹525 respectively.
– In AC seater buses, adults are charged ₹3,685 for 7 days and ₹2,145 for 4 days. For children, the charges are ₹1,845 and ₹1,075 respectively.
– For Volvo seater buses, the fare is ₹5,610 for adults and ₹2,805 for children for 7 days, and ₹3,245 and ₹1,625 for 4 days respectively.
Passes under this scheme are available on working days at any GSRTC bus station or control point. The pass is non-transferable and must be used by the pass holder only. In case of cancellations, the pass must be cancelled a day before its start date, and refunds will be processed after deducting applicable charges.
