Vadodara: Three people, including a policeman, lost their lives in a tragic accident involving a Bolero pickup truck and a bike near Gopalpura village in Dabhoi municipality in Vadodara. Two of the victims died on the spot, while the third succumbed to his injuries at SSG Hospital.

The deceased are Mukesh Sanabhai Rathwa, a police constable from Turkheda village in Chhota Udepur district, and his two friends, Suresh Nersinh Rathwa and Haresh Ramsinh Rathwa, both from Kanalwa village in Chhota Udepur district. The three had attended a wedding in Kwant and were returning on one bike when the accident occurred. It is learnt that Mukesh was serving in Kapurai Police Station.

Suresh and Haresh died instantly, while Mukesh was rushed to SSG Hospital in Vadodara but passed away before receiving treatment. Reports indicate that both Suresh and Haresh had recently appeared for the PSI exam. Police have reached the scene, taken the bodies for post-mortem, and are conducting further legal proceedings.
