Ahmedabad–Baku direct flight service to begin in July

Ahmedabad: Starting July 4, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will launch a direct flight service between Baku and Ahmedabad, offering city residents a new international travel route. The national carrier of Azerbaijan will operate four weekly flights in each direction.
Flights from Baku to Ahmedabad are scheduled on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while departures from Ahmedabad will be on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Ticket bookings are now live on the airline’s official website.
The service will utilize Airbus A320 aircraft, with departure times varying by day. On Fridays and Sundays, flight J251 will leave Baku at 9:15 PM (local time) and reach Ahmedabad at 2:45 AM IST the next day. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the flight will depart Baku at 7:50 PM and arrive in Ahmedabad at 1:20 AM IST.
Return flights (J252) from Ahmedabad will depart at 3:45 AM IST on Saturdays and Mondays, and at 2:20 AM IST on Wednesdays and Fridays, arriving in Baku at 7:05 AM and 5:40 AM local time, respectively.
