Ahmedabad: Prerak Nikhilkumar Shah (40) is resident of Naranpura railway crossing based Bank of India Prathmesh society. he lives with his wife Rupal Shah and son Yug Shah.

So of Bankers parents, Shah was student of Vidhyanagar high school and CC Seth college of commerce in Ahmedabad. He is Bachelor of Commerce by education.

Shah has his office in Sindhu Bhavan road, from where he does his financial advisor business. He started this business in 2007 after doing one and half year job. He holds Investment Awareness programme every year, apart from seminars in this field. Having a habit of strict diet and minimum 8 hours exercise is his routine. Shah is fond of reading finance related books. He has collection of over 600 books.

Prerak Shah came to limelight when a video of his TV debate went viral in which he literally shut the Congress leader and former minister Jaynarayan Vyas, with handy figures and sharp argument. Prerak Shah also was in limelight when he was picked up by party as dummy candidate in Rajya Sabha election in Gujarat in 2023. Shah had in his affidavit as a candidate shown over Rs. 15 crore assets including gold, AUDI car, office in Bodakdev area and investments in mutual funds and stocks.

Publically, Shah is known for his TV debates in which he presents the positive picture of Indian economy under Prime Minister Narendra Modi with figures on his fingertrip. Shah is considered one of leading face of emerging intellectuals in the party with grip on the domains of finance, trade, economic progress. The party has fielded Shah for various lectures across Gujarat.

Shah is Co-spokesperson of BJP Gujarat and Convener of Economic Cell in the State BJP. DeshGujarat
