Panchmahal: The 65th Gujarat Foundation Day is being marked with a state-level celebration in Godhra today. Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel are in attendance at the event.

Earlier, on the occasion, Chief Minister Patel inaugurated and laid the foundation for 85 development projects worth ₹650 crore in Panchmahal district. Key projects include the groundbreaking of a UHT milk processing plant at Panchamrut Dairy and the virtual inauguration of an advanced machine for sorted semen technology. India’s largest lithium-ion battery recycling plant was also inaugurated in Halol.

The celebrations featured a parade by Gujarat Police personnel on Bamroli Road. The Chief Minister and Governor reviewed the parade, which included coordinated marching and impressive stunts performed by officers on bullet motorcycles.

Prominent dignitaries, including Education Minister Kuber Dindor, Minister of State for Cooperation Jagdish Vishwakarma, and Deputy Speaker Jetha Bharwad, are also present at the celebrations. DeshGujarat
