Porbandar: The local police detained Hiralba Jadeja, the aunt of Kutiyana MLA Kandhal Jadeja, late on Tuesday night in connection with a kidnapping case, triggering a political stir.

This comes after a woman named Liluben Odedra, originally from Kuchhdi village and currently residing in Israel, released a video alleging that her family had been illegally confined at Hiralba Jadeja’s bungalow in Porbandar.

Following the video appeal addressed to the Chief Minister and Home Minister, the police launched an investigation. Based on the findings, a case was registered at Harbour Marine Police Station against Hiralba Jadeja, Hitesh Odedra, and several others. Hiralba was subsequently detained. Furthermore, a police team also conducted a search operation at Hiralba Jadeja’s residence, Suraj Palace. Further investigation is ongoing, and more details are likely to be released later.
