Mumbai: Western Railway has on 30th April 2025 through a press release announced the details of three Summer Special Trains in connection with upcoming Summer vacation in schools and colleges. Western Railway stated – ‘For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season, Western Railway has decided to run three Special Trains on Special Fare to various destinations.’

Extension of trips of Weekly Special Train between Mumbai Central & Katihar

For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand especially during the summer season, Western Railway has decided to run three Special Trains on Special Fare to various destinations. Besides this, WR has decided to extend the trips of Train No. 09189/09190 Mumbai Central – Katihar Weekly Special train on Special fare on existing composition, timings, and stoppages, etc.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Vineet Abhishek the details of the special train is as under:

1. Train No. 09067/09068 Udhna – Jaynagar Weekly Unreserved Special [8Trips]

Train No. 09067 Udhna – Jaynagar Special will depart from Udhna every Sunday at 12.20 hrs and reach Jaynagar at 20.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th to 25th May, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09068 Jaynagar – Udhna Special will depart from Jaynagar every Monday at 23.50 hrs and reach Udhna at 12.15 hrs, on Wednesday. This train will run from 5th to 26th May, 2025.

Enroute this train will halt at Chalthan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur Jn, Muzaffarpur Jn, Samastipur Jn, Darbhanga Jn and Madhubani stations in both directions.

This train comprises of General Second Class coaches.

2. Train No. 09069/09070 Udhna – Samastipur Weekly Special [10 Trips]

Train No. 09069 Udhna – Samastipur Special will depart from Udhna every Saturday at 20.35 hrs and will reach Samastipur at 02.35 hrs, on Monday. This train will run from 3rd to 31st May, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09070 Samastipur – Udhna Special will depart from Samastipur every Monday at 05.00 hrs. & will arrive Udhna at 14.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th May to 2nd June, 2025.

Enroute this train will halt at Chalthan, Nandurbar, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi Jn, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar, Ara, Danapur, Patliputra, Hajipur Jn and Muzaffarpur Jn stations in both directions.

This train comprises of Sleeper Class and General Second Class coaches.

3. Train No. 09407/09408 Ahmedabad – Danapur Weekly Special [14 Trips]:

Train No. 09407 Ahmedabad – Danapur Special will depart Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 09.20 hrs & will reach Danapur at 19.00 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th May to 17 June, 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09408 Danapur – Ahmedabad Special will depart from Danapur every Wednesday at 22.30 hrs & will reach Ahmedabad at 06.00 hrs, on Friday. This train will run from 7th May to 18th June, 2025.

Enroute this train will halt at Nadiad, Chhayapuri, Ratlam, Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bina, Saugor, Damoh, Katni Murwara, Satna, Manikpur Jn, Prayagraj Cheoki, Deen Dayal Upadhyaya, Buxar and Ara station in both directions.
