ED searches at 4 premises in Mumbai, Surat in Torres Jewellery scam case

Mumbai: The Mumbai branch of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted search operations across Mumbai and Surat on Friday. The raids were carried out at four premises as part of the ongoing investigation into M/s Platinum Hern Pvt Ltd, which operates under the brand name “Torres Jewellery,” the agency said in an official statement.
The official tweet states, “ED, Mumbai has conducted search operations across Mumbai and Surat on 09.05.2025 under the provisions of the PMLA, 2002 at 4 premises as a part of the ongoing probe in the case of M/s Platinum Hern Pvt Ltd under the brand name “Torres Jewellery.” During the search operations, various incriminating documents, digital devices and cash amount of Rs. 6.30 Crore were seized.”
The authorities continue to examine the company’s financial transactions, and further legal actions are expected as the investigation progresses. DeshGujarat
