PM Modi likely to visit Gujarat in last week of May

Kutch: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to visit his home state of Gujarat later this month. It is learnt that during this visit, expected on May 27, he may travel to Bhuj.

According to reports, PM Modi might also visit the International Border that Gujarat shares with Pakistan. He is additionally expected to address a public meeting in Bhuj during his visit.

This visit comes in the wake of recent tensions between India and Pakistan, following India’s launch of Operation Sindoor, which targeted terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir after the terror attack in Pahalgam. Following this, the Pakistani army attempted drone incursions in various border districts, including Kutch and Indian airbases, which were successfully intercepted and neutralised by Indian air defence systems.

It is worth mentioning that Prime Minister Modi’s last visit to Gujarat was in March. On March 1, he visited Jamnagar and stayed overnight. He also toured Reliance’s Vantara facility. On March 2, he visited Sasan Gir, participated in Wildlife Day celebrations, and attended a national conference. On March 3, he visited the Somnath Temple, received blessings, and offered prayers.

Later, on March 7, the Prime Minister attended an event at Nilgiri Ground in Limbayat, Surat, as part of the Surat Food Security Saturation Campaign. On March 8, he participated in a Women’s Day program in Navsari. DeshGujarat
