Bhuj Readies for Prime Ministerial Visit with Grand 1000-Meter Tricolor Welcome

Bhuj: Excitement and meticulous preparations are underway in Bhuj as the Kutch district administration and the local Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organization gear up for a major public meeting to be addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, May 26th. A standout feature of the elaborate arrangements will be a stunning 1000-meter-long Indian national flag, set to be a key part of the welcome for the Prime Minister along his arrival route.

The upcoming visit has gained particular significance following the success of “Operation Sindoor,” a detail that was highlighted in a preparatory meeting held at Kutch Kamalam. The meeting saw the presence of prominent figures including District BJP President Devjibhai Varchand, Minister in-charge Prafullabhai Panseria, and State General Secretary and MP Vinodbhai Chavda.

Addressing the gathering, District President Devjibhai Varchand stressed the importance of widespread mobilization, calling for meetings in every mandal and meticulous arrangements at the district panchayat seat level to ensure maximum public participation. He also revealed that the Mahila Morcha (women’s wing) will have a special dress code for its members, and the Yuva Morcha (youth wing) has organized unique programs to mark the occasion. All party wings are reportedly making special arrangements to welcome the Prime Minister.

State General Secretary and MP Vinodbhai Chavda elaborated on the event’s planning, reiterating the goal of ensuring a large turnout. Beyond the impressive 1000-meter tricolor, Bhuj will also see a dedicated cleanliness drive. Patriotic murals and various programs designed to evoke national pride are also being organized by different groups.

Minister in-charge Prafullabhai Panseria underscored the collaborative effort between the government and the party organization to ensure the event’s success. He praised Prime Minister Modi’s dedication to “Mother India and national service,” and framed the visit as an opportunity to specially greet the Prime Minister, particularly in light of recent successes attributed to the nation’s soldiers.

To facilitate widespread attendance, all Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) have been tasked with coordinating with taluka and city councils, as well as elected office bearers, to encourage people from their respective constituencies to attend and to ensure their comfortable transportation and accommodation.

The preparatory meeting was well-attended by a host of local leaders and party functionaries. DeshGujarat
