For the convenience of passengers and to meet travel demand, especially during the summer season, Western Railway has decided to run Superfast Tejas Special Trains on Special Fare between Mumbai Central and Rajkot & Mumbai Central and Gandhidham. Additionally, to further cater to passenger demand, Western Railway has also extended the trips of two pairs of Special Trains on Special Fare.

According to a press release issued by Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Vineet Abhishek, the details of the special trains are as follows:

1. Train No. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central–Rajkot Tejas Superfast Bi-Weekly Special [18 Trips]:
   Train No. 09005 Mumbai Central–Rajkot Special will depart from Mumbai Central every Wednesday & Friday at 23:20 hrs and reach Rajkot at 11:45 hrs the next day.

This train will run from 30th May to 27th June 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09006 Rajkot–Mumbai Central Special will depart from Rajkot every Thursday & Saturday at 18:30 hrs and arrive at Mumbai Central at 07:30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 31st May to 28th June 2025.

En route, this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar, and Wankaner stations in both directions. This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, and AC 3-Tier coaches.

2. Train No. 09017/09018 Mumbai Central–Gandhidham Tejas Superfast Weekly Special [10 Trips]:

Train No. 09017 Mumbai Central Special will depart from Mumbai Central every Monday at 23:20 hrs and reach Gandhidham at 12:55 hrs the next day. This train will run from 2nd June to 30th June 2025. Similarly, Train No. 09018 Gandhidham–Mumbai Central Special will depart from Gandhidham every Tuesday at 18:55 hrs and arrive at Mumbai Central at 07:30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 3rd June to 1st July 2025.

En route, this train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Samakhiali, and Bhachau stations in both directions. This train comprises First AC, AC 2-Tier, and AC 3-Tier coaches.

Extension of Trains:

1. Train No. 09067 Udhna–Jaynagar Unreserved Special has been extended up to 29th June 2025.

2. Train No. 09068 Jaynagar–Udhna Unreserved Special has been extended up to 30th June 2025.

3. Train No. 09069 Udhna–Samastipur Special has been extended up to 28th June 2025.

4. Train No. 09070 Samastipur–Udhna Special has been extended up to 30th June 2025.

Booking for Train Nos. 09005, 09006, 09017 & 09018 will open from 25.05.2025, and for extended trips of Train No. 09069, it will open on 27.05.2025 at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website.
