Ahmedabad: A woman allegedly hailing from Pakistan has been detained in the city today. The revelation about the woman’s identity came to light when she visited Shardaben Hospital seeking an abortion. When an ID card was demanded from her, instead of submitting an Aadhaar card, she provided her passport. Upon inspection, it was found that she is a Pakistani national and her visa had expired in March. She is currently being held in a separate ANC ward, and the hospital has alerted the police.
