Rajkot: In yet another incident of the uncontrolled menace of stray dogs, a 6-year-old child died after being attacked by five stray dogs.

A child from a Bihar-origin labourer family was playing outside his home when five dogs attacked and killed him.

The victim, Ayush, was the child of Patna-origin Ajitkumar Yadav, who had shifted to Shapar in Rajkot in January this year. Severely injured due to the attack by dogs, Ayush was taken to the Rajkot-based civil hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead. — DeshGujarat
