Unseasonal rains take break; Only drizzles in two talukas of Gujarat in 24 hours

Gandhinagar: Though it had cloudy sky, there was no rainfall across Gujarat in 24 hours ending at 6 am on 30th May. Only two talukas in the State reported rainfall of upto 0.08 inch. While Satlasana in Mahesana district had 2 mm rainfall which equals to 0.08 inch, Bardoli taluka in Surat had 1 mm rainfall which equals to 0.04 inch. Though South Western Monsoon is officially not set in any part of Gujarat, nonseasonal rainfall has been witnessed in recent days. However on Friday 30th of May, the showers took break. The State is still cloudy, little windy and humid amid forecast of further rainfall. DeshGujarat
