June 09, 2025
Dwarka: In a proactive move to prevent accidents and aid in rescuing individuals from drowning in the Gomti River, the Dwarka administration has deployed a remote-controlled rescue craft.
For devotees who come to bathe at the Gomti Ghat in Dwarka, the District Disaster Management Authority has handed over a remote-controlled rescue craft to the Dwarka Fire Rescue Team.
From now on, the fire rescue team at the Gomti River in Dwarka will be accompanied by both a speedboat and the remote-controlled rescue craft. This device can be easily guided to a drowning person, who can then hold onto it and be brought safely to shore.
In response to several drowning incidents in the Gomti River over the past twenty days, the district administration has introduced this device to enhance safety. DeshGujarat
