50 injured in Ahmedabad plane crash undergoing treatment, all stable: Gujarat govt

Ahmedabad: The Gujarat government has announced that 50 people who were injured in the crash of an Air India flight this afternoon are undergoing treatment and are reportedly in stable condition.
Principal Secretary (Health) Dhananjay Dwivedi, in a statement, said, “Fifty injured individuals are currently being treated at Civil Hospital, and all patients are reported to be in stable condition.”
However, the identity of these individuals has not yet been confirmed. They may include students of B.J. Medical College and local residents who suffered injuries in the plane crash.
Meanwhile, City Police Commissioner G.S. Malik told news agency Associated Press that “it appears there are no survivors in the plane crash,” which had 242 passengers and crew members on board.
