Vijay Rupani’s Funeral Procession, Last Rites, Prayer Meetings Details | Ahmedabad | Rajkot | Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The funeral procession of former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani will take place in Rajkot on Monday, June 16.
At 11:30 AM, the mortal remains of the late former Chief Minister will be received by his family at Civil Hospital in the Asarwa area of Ahmedabad. Between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM, the body will be taken to the airport, from where it will be flown to Hirasar Airport in Rajkot at 12:30 PM. It is expected to arrive at Rajkot Airport at 2:00 PM and will then be taken to Greenland Chokdi in Rajkot. The subsequent route is detailed below:
2:30 PM to 4:00 PM:
Greenland Chokdi to the Rajkot residence of Vijay Rupani via Ranchhoddas Bapu Ashram, Balak Hanuman Chowk, KD Chowk, Sant Kabir Road, Sardar School, Punjit Rupani Trust, Bhavnagar Road Zone Office, Parevdi Chowk, Kesri Hind Bridge, Civil Hospital Chowk, Chaudhary High School, Bahumali Bhavan, District Panchayat Chowk, Kishanpara Chowk, Hanuman Madhi Chowk, Raiya Road, Nirmala Convent Road, and Prakash Society (Residence: Pujit 2/5, Prakash Society, Opposite Nirmala Convent School, Rajkot).
4:00 PM to 5:00 PM:
Darshan of the mortal remains at Rupani’s residence, Pujit Bungalow.
5:00 PM to 6:00 PM:
Funeral procession from Rupani’s residence to Ramnath Para crematorium.
Route: Prakash Society (Pujit Bungalow) – Nirmala Convent Road – Kotecha Chowk – Kalavad Road – Mahila College Chowk – Estron Chowk – Sardarnagar Main Road – Yagnik Road – Malaviya Chowk – Trikon Baug Chowk – Corporation Chowk – Balaji Mandir Chowk – Rajshri Theater Road – Swaminarayan Mandir – Bhupendra Road – Ramnathpara Smashan.
Prayer Meetings:
The prayer meeting for the late Vijay Rupani will be held at Racecourse Ground in Rajkot on Tuesday, June 17, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
