ECI cancels polling at two Visavdar booths, re-poll on June 21

Junagadh: The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced the cancellation of voting at two polling stations in the Visavdar Assembly constituency following irregularities during the by-elections held on Thursday, June 19, 2025. The re-polling will now take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
As per the ECI notification under Section 58(2) of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, polling at Booth No. 86 – Malida and Booth No. 111 – Nawa Vaghania of Assembly Constituency 87 – Visavdar has been declared void. The Commission has urged all concerned political parties, candidates, and voters of these polling stations to take note of the fresh polling schedule. DeshGujarat
