Ahmedabad: With rising interest in recreational sports like box cricket and pickleball, the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd. (SRFDCL) has invited tenders to lease a 1,375 sq.m. open space on the west side of the Sabarmati Riverfront, just south of the existing sports complex. The monthly base rent for the space has been fixed at ₹1.65 lakh, and the final rent will be determined based on market response.

SRFDCL has stated that this initiative aims to further enhance sports infrastructure on the Riverfront and promote community wellness and leisure through modern urban sports.

The lease/license period will be for five years, during which the allotted area can be used for box cricket, pickleball, and other outdoor sports activities. The last date to submit tender applications is July 9, 2025, and the tender opening is scheduled for July 11 at 12:00 noon at the Riverfront House. DeshGujarat
