One more Talati Mantri arrested in Gujarat ACB bribery trap

Surendranagar: The Gujarat Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has arrested a Talati-cum-Mantri and his accomplice for accepting a bribe of ₹3,000 in Surendranagar district.
According to the ACB, the complainant owns two plots in Vadod village, Wadhwan taluka, and had requested Village Form No. 2 from the Talati. Accused Pedhadia, posted at Lakhtar Gram Panchayat, Class-3, demanded a bribe of ₹3,000 through his accomplice Rajubhai Vasoya to issue the documents.
Unwilling to pay the bribe, the complainant approached the Surendranagar ACB office, which laid a trap near Suraj Painter shop, opposite HP Petrol Pump and near Raj Hotel in Surendranagar.
