Ahmedabad: In a first, the Gujarat State Examination Board has released a tentative year-long schedule for 10 key examinations to be held during the upcoming academic year. Previously, the board announced exam dates only a few weeks in advance through official notifications.

As per the provisional schedule, the Common Entrance Test (CET) is slated for February 14, 2026, while the Gyan Sadhana Merit Scholarship Examination is planned for March 21, 2026. The board has clarified that these dates are subject to revision. The schedule covers a range of exams including the Primary and Secondary Scholarship Exams, the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship, the RIMC Entrance Exam, Drawing Exams, and diploma courses in Elementary and Pre-School Education as well as the Art Teacher Diploma.
