Surat: In two separate incidents related to the stray dog menace, a woman was mauled by a pack of 15 dogs in Surat district, and a toddler was killed after being bitten by a stray dog in Surendranagar.

In one incident that occurred in Jodwan village of Umarpada taluka, a pack of over 15 dogs attacked a 40-year-old woman, biting her several times. The victim, Emaben Vasava, had gone out for a nature’s call when the dog attack happened. When the woman did not return and the family carried out a search, her dead body was found, after which the Umarpada Police was informed.

Meanwhile, in another incident in Surendranagar, a 2-year-old boy was attacked by a dog in Vagadhiya village of Muli taluka on Sunday afternoon.
