Thousands of women mark Jaya Parvati Vrat Jagran at Kankariya; City Mayor, others played Garba

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation organized cultural programs on the occasion of Jaya Parvati Vrat Jagran at Kankaria Complex.On the occasion of Jaya Parvati Vrat Jagran at Kankaria Complex was kept open till 03:00 at night exclusively for women for free and various cultural programs were organized. Over 20,000 fasting women who had observed Vrat visited Kankaria with their children/families and enjoyed Garba, cultural programs and other attractions of Kankaria. The city Mayor Pratibha Jain was among those thousands of women who participated in Garba folk dance here. DeshGujarat
