Trial Run for Digiyatra at Surat International Airport completes

Surat: The officials at Surat Airport today informed that the trial run for Digiyatra at Surat International Airport is successfully completed.
They added that an inspection for the final approval from the regulating authorities has been carried out recently for any shortcoming.
Digiyatra at Surat International Airport will be available soon they further added.
With Digi Yatra, passengers can bypass CISF-manned entry gates and move effortlessly within the terminal up to the boarding gate. The system uses facial recognition technology to verify details, eliminating the need for manual ID checks. Surat will become the second airport in Gujarat, after Ahmedabad, to adopt this facility.
Currently, 24 airports across India, including Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Cochin, have implemented Digi Yatra, with more airports set to follow. DeshGujarat
