24 hours rainfall data from across Gujarat; Upto 6.30 inch rains across 217 talukas, State completes 67.77% rain

Gandhinagar: After a break in initial period of August, the monsoon has revived in Gujarat. As many as 217 talukas of the State received rain in 24 hours period ending Sunday, 17th of August. 75 of them had rains around or above one inch.
Bhesan in Junagadh district topped the chart with 6.30 inches rainfall in this period, followed by Jamkandorna 4.65, Gondal 4.13, Kunkavav Vadia 4.13, Dantiwada 3.58, Nandod 3.07 inches.
Dhari had 2.99 inch rainfall followed by Halvad 2.76, Hansot 2.40, Karjan 2.40, Khambhalia 2.32, Dasada 2032, Ranpur 2.24, Kheda 2.20, Visavdar 2.17, Patan-Veraval 2.13, Una 2.09, Kodinar 2.05, Jamjodhpur 2.05 and Limdi 2.01.
Talukas where 1.50 to 2 inch rainfall was witnessed were Bagasara, Ahmedabad city, Anand, Deesa, Maliya Hatina, Gir Gadhada, Bhabhar, Gandevi, Lalpur, Unjha, Amirgadh, Chuda, Umargam, Saraswati, jetpur, Valsad, Garudeshwar.
Talukas where 1 to 1.50 inch rainfall was experienced were JUnagadh, Junagadh city, Valia, Sutrapada, Jotana, Vanthali, Morbi, Savarkundla, Santalpur, Dahod, Sayla, Matar, Maliya, Dhoraji, Kankrej, Shinor, Botad, Modasa, Shihor, Deodar, Patan, Mendarda, Palanpur, Wankaner, Talala, Upleta, Kotda Sangani, Harij, Garbada, Jambughoda, Lathi, Sami.
