NDRF Rescues 9 Persons in Flash Flood in North Gujarat

Gandhinagar: In a swift rescue operation, the 6th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) successfully evacuated nine people stranded in the Sabarmati river at Ratanpura village, Khedbrahma taluka, Sabarkantha district, Gujarat.
According to information received from the district civil administration, the stranded group included two men, four women, and three children who were trapped amid rising water levels.
Acting immediately on the alert, a rescue team from 06 Bn NDRF moved from its halted location at Himmatnagar in Sabarkantha and reached the incident site. The team carried out the operation safely, ensuring that all nine citizens were brought to safety without any casualties.
The NDRF continues to remain on high alert in flood-prone areas of Gujarat, coordinating closely with local authorities to respond swiftly to emergencies. DeshGujarat
