Gujarat CM on Delhi visit to meet PM Modi
October 13, 2025
Ahmedabad: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is visiting the national capital, Delhi, today and is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi. While the state government has not officially announced the visit as of now, political circles are abuzz with speculation.
The visit comes amid ongoing talks of a possible reshuffle and expansion of the state council of ministers. Since the 2022 state assembly elections, Bhupendra Patel has completed over half of his five-year term. He has overall completed four years as Chief Minister. While some ministers of his cabinet lack visibility and performance, others have attracted bad press due to their connections to scams, and due to this, a possible reshuffle in the cabinet is on the cards soon.
The visit also follows the appointment of Jagdish Vishwakarma as the new state party chief, which is now expected to be followed by the formation of a new leadership team for the state unit. DeshGujarat
