Ahmedabad: IndiGo will be adding new direct flights between Coimbatore and Ahmedabad starting 26 October 2025. The airline will operate these flights four times a week using its Airbus A320 aircraft, making it the only carrier to offer direct connectivity between the two cities.

Given Coimbatore’s emergence as a diversified industrial and educational centre, and Ahmedabad’s position as a major commercial and business hub, there is significant demand for travel between the two cities. The new direct connection will facilitate smoother travel, reduce multi-leg journeys, and enhance accessibility between two economically and culturally significant regions.
