DRI seizes prohibited chemicals from illegal factory in Valsad; four held

Valsad: The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) team today conducted a raid at a complex in Pitha village in Valsad and seized a large quantity of prohibited chemicals. These chemicals were reportedly being used to manufacture nail polish.
Four individuals have been arrested in connection with the case. The DRI team carried out the operation at a complex located on the Khergam-Valsad road in Pitha village. On the first floor of the complex, three shops had been rented out, where a processing unit for prohibited chemicals used in nail polish was being operated.
It was revealed that the processing unit was running without any NOC (No Objection Certificate). The DRI has initiated an investigation to determine the source of the seized chemicals and the company from which they were procured.
