Ahmedabad: An event titled ‘Pramukhvarni Amrut Mahotsav’ will be organized on December 7, 2025, at the Sabarmati Riverfront, Ahmedabad, in the presence of Mahant Swami Maharaj, the spiritual successor of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. The celebration marks the 75th anniversary of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s appointment as President of BAPS.

Late Pramukh Swami Maharaj was appointed as President of the BAPS Sanstha in 1950 by its founder, Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj, at Ambliwali Pol in Ahmedabad. Pramukh Swami Maharaj went on to touch millions of lives across the world and played a pivotal role in spreading the eternal values of Sanatan Dharma globally.

On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of his appointment as the head of BAPS, thousands of devotees and well-wishers are expected to gather at the Riverfront to offer tributes and reflect upon his divine life and message. A special presentation showcasing the noble virtues and spiritual legacy of Pramukh Swami Maharaj through a symbolic boat procession on the river will be among the key highlights of the event.
