Gujarat Delegation Leaves for Scotland to Present Bid for 2030 Commonwealth Games

Ahmedabad: Senior officials of the Gujarat government and the Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) have left for Scotland to present the state’s bid to host the 2030 Commonwealth Games.
The presentation will be made before the Commonwealth Games General Assembly during meetings scheduled in Glasgow from November 24 to 27. State officials, along with the AMC Commissioner, will outline Ahmedabad’s preparedness and proposed infrastructure for the multi-sport event.
The state government is pitching Ahmedabad as the host city, highlighting the newly developed international-level Veer Savarkar sports complex at Naranpura as a key venue in the bid. DeshGujarat
