Ahmedabad: The Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today stated that it has conducted a tender process operation for the newly built gymnasium and library (reading room) in the Ranip area. The project, sanctioned for a five-year tenure under the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, aims to provide modern sports and educational facilities to the citizens of the city.
Four tenders were received for the project, all of which were found eligible. The H-1 tenderer, Soft Tennis Association of Gujarat, has been awarded the contract at ₹7,11,000 plus 18% GST for five years, with the possibility of extension for another three years after review. Under the PPP agreement, the operator is required to increase the annual rental amount by 10% every three years.
